Scottish singer-lyricist Katie Gregson-MacLeod has told how she awakened to “outright frenzy” subsequent to posting a 45-second clasp to TikTok.

Short-term, the tune of her melody Complex amassed 100,000 perspectives and remarks from artists Gracie Abrams, Lennon Stella and Maisie Peters.

Four weeks on, Katie, an understudy and bistro specialist from Inverness, has finished paperwork for Columbia Records.

The tune, composed at her folks’ house, is currently being made into a record.

Katie, 21, said: “I posted 45 seconds of the new melody subsequent to composing it several days prior. I generally post clasps of new composition to see what occurs and this one surpassed my most extravagant fantasies.

“I awakened to outright frenzy.

“It was early, I think 6am, and saw it had in excess of 100,000 perspectives.”

Katie said the day was a haze yet went to Liven, the bistro where she has worked since she was young person to do her typical shift.
